Our History

We have years of experience caring for families, from all walks of life.

Each family comes to us because they know we are leaders in our profession, dedicated to excellence in service, and have the highest integrity.

Hubbard Funeral Home, Inc. has been serving the Maryland community since it was founded in 1941 by Howard and Louise Hubbard. The Hubbards cared for the Crisfield community and surrounding area until 1949, when they returned to Baltimore. Operating from a location on Edmonson Avenue until 1954, the funeral home was ultimately moved to our current location on Wilkens Avenue. Over the years, numerous additions and renovations have been made to the building, but the Hubbard’s core beliefs have persisted: All families deserve an exceptional standard of service regardless of budget.
