Ronald Lee Pendleton, affectionately known as Ronnie, was born in Lynchburg, Virginia on August 31, 1957. He was called by God from labor to reward and peacefully departed his life on December 21, 2018 in Baltimore, MD. Ronald was born to Gerhart Pendleton and the late Evelyn Pendleton. He was one of five children and had a unique relationship with each sibling.
Ronnie attended and graduated from Marie Katzenbach School for the Deaf. He loved to swim and he was a member of the swim team in school. He had a passion for writing and helping others in need for a better quality of life. As a result, Ronnie volunteered and devoted his time to writing inspirational articles to give people hope for the future. Ronnie was very involved with his church, Christ Deaf United Methodist Church, where he was a member of the choir. Ronnie found and married his true love Gwen on July 20, 2013. They were not just husband and wife, but best friends.
Ronald is predeceased by his mother, Evelyn Pendleton, his siblings Donald Pendleton and Elsie Griffin. He is survived by his wife, Gwen Pendleton; father, Gerhart Pendleton; siblings, Tammy (Mike) Miles and Vickie (John) Carmichael; children, Rona Golden and Ronald Artist; six step children; grandchildren, Julisa, Jordan, Jalil, Jalani; one great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other relatives that love him and will greatly miss him.
