Tribute
On Sunday September 15th, 2019, William Thomas Heacock JR-"Tom" to his family and friends- passed away suddenly. During his life time he experienced life on many levels. He was a proud veteran serving in the army during the Vietnam War. He remained state-side as a rifle instructor for his tour. He also worked 30 years at General Motors holding many positions- the last in the paint department, where he probably touched one of your cars. After retiring he became a charter boat captain on the "Foolish Pleasure" for 20 years. After retiring a second time he spent many hours in his workshop doing woodworking. Besides his love of fishing, he was an avid hunter in his earlier years. Tom is survived by his beloved wife, Jonna Heacock; loving father of Troy Allen Stover and his wife Katie, Michael Steven Heacock and his wife Tonya, and the late Christopher Paul Heacock and his wife Kim; caring grandfather to Monica (and Adam Boring), Joshua, Michelle, Kayli, Jack, Mackenzie, Griffin, and his step-grandchildren, Colin Lucas, Brantley, and Dominic; loving great-grandfather to Xavier; and the beloved brother of Frank Heacock. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 19th, from 2pm-4pm & 6pm-8pm, and a service to be held on Friday, September 20th, at 10am at Hubbard Funeral Home, INC, 4107 Wilkens Ave, Baltimore, MD 21229.
