On Saturday, January 25, 2014, William "Bill" H. Bowers, II passed away at St. Agnes Hospital, Baltimore, MD at the age of 69. Born on May 3, 1944 in Baltimore to the late William H. Bowers I and Regina Townsley Bowers, Bill, a loyal Ravens fan, was a life long area resident who retired from David Edwards, Ltd. after 33 years of service. Along with his parents, Bill was pre deceased by his lovely wife Elizabeth Bowers and a sister, Cecelia Bauhaus. He is survived by his children, Elizabeth "Jeannie" (Wayne) Petty, William (Debbie) Bowers III and James Bowers. He is also survived by his sister, Beverly Schmidt, brothers Joseph and Robert Bowers as well as his 6 grandchildren; Ronald Herr, Justin Herr, James Bowers, Angelica Bowers, Diana St. John and Kolby Bowers and 2 great-grandchildren; Haden Mabe and Brooklyn Jones and a host of other family members and friends. Mr. Bowers rests at the family operated HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4107 Wilkens Ave., Baltimore, MD 21229 where friends are invited to call on Thursday, January 30th from 5pm to 7pm where a funeral service will immediately follow at 7pm. Interment will be in Loudon Park Cemetery at a later date.
