On April 15, 2012, Wally Hagan, Sr. passed away at St. Agnes Hospital. Born January 14, 1922 to the late Leo & Carmie Becraft Hagan and was a lifelong Baltimore resident.He worked for many years as a Heavy Equipment Operator and was a proud member of the Local 37 Operating Engineers for 70 years.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Hazel Beares Hagan as well as is son, Wallace L. Hagan, Jr. and his wife Rose and daughter Beverly Luers and her husband Ed. Wally was also survived by his grandchildren Wally (Debbie) Hagan, III; Eddie (Jennifer) Luers, III; David (Dottie) Hagan; Elaine (Drew) Liberto and Cyndi (Norman) Simpkins as well as great grandchildren, Alex, Spencer, Shaun, Sam, Bella, Cecilia, Colleen, Jaymie, David, Caden and Wyatt; his sister Madeline Stolte and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his brother Joseph Hagan.
Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm at the HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4107 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church at 11am. Interment in Loudon Park Cemetery.
