On May 8, 2006, Virginia H. (Shaver) Scott, loving mother of Robert Shaver, Sue Bopst, JoAnn Hillebrandt Donald Scott, Sr., Arnold Ray Scott, Shirley Scott, Thomas Scott, Stevie Scott, Michael Scott and the late Burl Scott: also survived by 21 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren her sisters Katherine Wilfong and Glenna Potter also many friends. Known to many as "Granny".

Visitation to be held at the HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, INC. 4107 Wilkens Avenue, on Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM and where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 AM. Interment to follow at Loudon Park Cemetery.
