On July 20, 2013, Virginia L. Norris, beloved wife of the late Robert W. Norris passed away at Charlestown Care Center.She is the loving mother of Thomas L. (Cathleen A.) Norris, Nancy S. (Scott) Smith, Kenneth R. (Roberta L.) Norris and Carol (Michael) Caplan.She was a dear grandmother to Daniel L. (Christine) Norris, Alexandra (Alma) Martinez-Amores, Tony Cohen, Jeremy Norris, Sara Norris, Aaron Caplan and Asher Caplan as well as a great-grandchild, Jacob O. Norris.

Virginia was born on November 18, 1924 in Eau Claire, WI.She later graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelors Degree in Nursing and later enlisted in the United States Army Nurses Corp. where she later met her husband Robert in 1945.Virginia loved children, which is what allowed her to be the head the Adolescent Medicine Clinic for 19 years.

Funeral services for Mrs. Norris will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at 10AM at Our Lady of the Angels Chapel at Charlestown Retirement Community.Interment will be in Baltimore National Cemetery.
