Vernon Edgar Geis, Sr., died at his home of 52 years, in Catonsville, on March 30, 2006. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Sarah, he is survived by his loving daughter  Vernay and her husband Winfield Wescoat; proud son Vernon E. Geis, Jr.; loving grandchildren Jerry Keener, Mary Keener and Adam Geis. He will be deeply missed by Donna Coleman, Charlie Coleman and Kathy McLane, he is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Pop retired after 40 plus years at Bethlehem Steel Key Highway Ship Yard. He enjoyed boating, sunning, eating crabs at Sea Hut and was a loyal patron of many other Catonsville establishments. Most important was spending many good times with family and friends.

Visitation will be held at the HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4107 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland on Saturday and Sunday, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM and where Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 12:30 PM. Interment to follow at Meadowridge Memorial Park.
