With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Timothy (Tim) Patrick Rooney of Arbutus, who died at age 57 on July 31, 2024 after suffering a stroke.

Tim, who was a plumber, was kind and hardworking and always did his best to help others. He loved to play games and watch TV and was a wonderful husband and father who was always there to offer his love and support.  Tim never left for work or went to bed without a kiss and an "I love you". Our lives were blessed because we had him and will be forever changed by his loss. We will miss him beyond words and carry him in our hearts until we see him again.

Tim is survived by his wife Andrea Rooney, daughters Maggie Rooney and Chloe Rooney as well as his sister Donna Stolzenbach and her daughters Nicole Stolzenbach and Kristin Stolzenbach and Nicole's sons Coby, Riley and Ronin.  He is also survived by his brother Paul Rooney and his wife Brenda Rooney and Paul's daughter Jennifer, and brother-in-law Glenn Van Scyoc, his wife Kerstin and their daughter Sophia as well as many other extended family and friends. Tim was preceded by his parents Paul Rooney and Patsy Thomas and his sister Debbie Rooney
