Tribute
Called home to God on Sunday, June 17, 2018, at the age of 76. Sr Joseph was born in Attleboro, MA, on August 13, 1941. She was the daughter of the late Joseph J.B. Grenon and Jeannette Rita (nee Robinson) Grenon and was one of 6 children. Sister Joseph entered the Little Sisters of the Poor and pronounced her vows on April 24, 1963. In her 55 years of religious life, she served the elderly in homes throughout the United States, including New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, the District of Columbia, and Louisiana. She has been at St Martin's Home in Catonsville since October 2004.
Sister Joseph is survived by two sisters: Edna Ciccone and Joan Belham Copeland, and a nephew, Paul Belham, who is her Godchild. She is also survived by 5 additional nephews and 10 nieces, with several great nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Sister Joseph will be at St Martin's Home (Little Sisters of the Poor) Thursday June 21, 2018 from 3-5P and 6-8P with a Rosary at 4:30P. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St Martin's Home on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 11:00AM. Interment in New Cathedral Cemetery to follow.
