Tribute
Called home to God on Thursday, September 27, 2018, at the age of 82. Sr. Andrea was born in Meano, Spain, on October 17, 1935. She was the daughter of the late Juan Munarriz and Felisa (nee Satrustegui) Munarriz and was one of 3 children. Sister Andrea entered the Little Sisters of the Poor and pronounced her vows on June 8, 1955. In her 63 years of religious life, she served the elderly in homes throughout the United States, including Alabama, Delaware, Ohio, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, Missouri, Colorado, and California. She has been at St Martin's Home in Catonsville since May 2017.
Sister Andrea is predeceased by her 2 brothers: Carlos and José Luis. She is survived by 1 nephew and 2 nieces.
Visitation for Sister Andrea will be at St Martin's Home (Little Sisters of the Poor) Monday October 1, 2018 from 2-6P, with Rosary at 4:30P. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St Martin's Home on Tuesday October 2, 2018 at 11:00AM. Interment in New Cathedral Cemetery to follow.
