On August 21, 2016, Sidney Bowen Smith, Jr., beloved Son of June N. Smith and the late Sidney B. Smith, Sr., devoted Brother to Darlene J. Smith, loving father of James M. and his wife Heather K. and Todd C. and his wife Lisa D. Smith, and cherished Grandfather of Connor James, Mallory Kathryn, Annabella Teresa, Nicolo Sidney and Caralina June Smith. Mr. Smith is a 1958 Graduate of Baltimore Polytechnic Institute and of the University of Maryland. He had over 32 years of Federal Government Service, in addition to being a proud member of the Maryland National Guard.

Mr. Smith rests at the family operated HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4107 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, MD. The family will receive guests on Friday, August 26, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Loudon Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Mr. Smith's memory may be made to theAmerican Cancer Society or the Maryland ASPCA.
