On December 13, 2020, Shirley Brooks Powell went to be with her Lord. She is the beloved wife of the late John William Powell, loving mother of Robert and his wife Diane Powell, Wayne and his wife Liz Powell, Cherished grandmother of Cindy and her husband Adam Fletcher and Mollie Powell and her fiancé Ernesto Lopez, admired great-grandmother of Jonathan and Kendall Fletcher and Spencer.

Mrs. Powell rests at the HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4107 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21229. The family will receive guests on Friday, December 18, 2020 from 12 – 1 PM with funeral services to follow. Interment to follow at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens.
