On February 24, 2015, Shelia Jo (nee Damron) Kempton went to be with her Lord and joined her beloved husband the late George F. Kempton, Jr. in heaven. She is the loving mother of Patrick Williams and his wife Jennifer, Jacquelyne Gilchrist and her husband Phillip, Sheila Edwards and Sherri Proctor and her husband Bryant, cherished grandmother of Taylor, Devin, Sareena, Paul, Nick and Chase, devoted sister of Lisa Jones and the late Sterling Damron and Sharon Stikeleather.

Mrs. Kempton rests at the family operated HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4107 Wilkens Ave., Baltimore, MD. The family will receive guests on Sunday, March 1, 2015 from 3-6 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 2, 2015 at 12 Noon in the St. John Baptist Church, 9055 Tamar Dr., Columbia, MD 21045. The Family will greet guests one hour prior to the service. Interment to follow at Meadowridge Memorial Park.
