On Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at 11:12 PM, Ronald Charles Wade passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at St. Agnes Hospital with his family by his side. He is the beloved son of the late Hillary I. and Mary Leona Wade, loving father of Katie Wade Kosojet and her husband Zack Kosojet, cherished brother of the late Hillary Wade, and Debra Landsman, he is a close cousin of Cynthia Hardester, he is the devoted "Pop" to Jackson, Camden, and Briella, also survived by many nieces and nephews.
We would like to recognize the ICU team at St. Agnes for their outstanding support and compassion during this difficult time.
May he be remembered for being an amazing father, pop, brother, and uncle and for his contagious laugh and smile. He loved to cook and his family sure loved it when he did, because he made each one of us our own favorite meal. Since he was a child he loved hunting and fishing, enjoying many times in Ocean City, at his cabin in Pennsylvania and his camper on Taylors Island. He enjoyed being out on the boat, whether it was for fishing, crabbing or just a boat ride, and particularly loved being around the water with his grandsons. He was great with his hands and enjoyed woodworking resulting in the creation of Wade's Woodworks. We'd like to think he is now finally able to enjoy and complete some of these activities that he loved so much, but was missing out on these last few years. He was tough and strong yet soft and loving, honest, maybe too much sometimes (haha) but dependable. The family (particularly his sister) will remember him well for the agitator that he was and the jokester who made us all laugh. To me, his daughter, I'm the luckiest girl in the world to have had the pleasure of being raised by such an amazing man, my #1 fan, my protector, my hero. I will cherish and hold him in my heart forever.
May he now rest in heaven painlessly and peacefully.
We will be holding a Celebration of Life for his family and friends on Thursday, September 7, 2023, from 4-7pm at Fish Head Cantina in the back Pavilion area; 4802 Benson Ave, Halethorpe, MD. 21227.
