Woehlke, Robert A. On February 13, 2010, Robert A. Woehlke, beloved husband of 64 years, to the late Elizabeth �Betty Jane� Woehlke, loving father of Barbara W. Beckett and her husband George, Robert M. Woehlke and his wife Karen and Cathy Whissel and her husband Gene, cherished grandfather of Robert Adam and Cory Alex Woehlke, Caitlin E. and Michelle Whissel and William E. Beckett, devoted great-grandfather of Brittany A. and William E. Beckett, Jr., admired brother-in-law of Maurie Shafer and her husband Tom. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4107 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, MD. Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 AM on Thursday, February 18, 2010 in the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, MD. A dedicated member of the Dewey Lowman American Legion Post since returning from WW II, having served in the Army-Air Corps, and a Member of the American POW�s, having been a POW from December 1944 until his freedom in May 1945. He then returned home in June and married Betty Jane in July of 1945. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to the General Fund of Dewey Lowman American Legion Post, 1610 Old Sulphur Spring Road, Halethorpe, MD 21227.
