On Thursday, April 24th, 2008, Mr. Richard A. Burkett, loving husband of the late Gloria Ruth Burkett, beloved father of 3 sons, Melvin Jr., Gary and Richard Applegarth and 4 daughters Cynthia Hernandez, Barbara Ann Stewart, Beverly Cantrell, and Pauline Shiflett, also survived by 4 children from a previous marriage, Richard, Denise, Terry and Gerry, 13 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, April 28th, 2008 from 3-5:00 and 7-9:00 PM in HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4107 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 29th, 2008 at 11:00 AM in the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Loudon Park Cemetery.
