On April 15, 2012, Phyllis Flora passed away suddenly. Born April 24, 1943 to the late Phillip and Eva Summers Poggie she was lifelong Baltimore area resident. She was predeceased by her husband of 43 years the late Herman J. Flora, Jr. and she has worked with her sons at Herman Flora & Sons Sheet Metal. Phyllis is survived by her daughter Julie (Gene) Smith and her sons Herman & Barry Flora as well as her grandchildren Charles Weakley and Lindsay Smith as well as brother Phillip and Ronald Poggie and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 from 3 to 5pm and 7 to 9pm at the HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4107 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, MD where a funeral service will be on Wednesday at 10:00am.
