On November 15, 2011, Philbert F. Baumer, beloved husband of Doris C. (nee Gribben) Baumer, loving father of Connie Sunderhaus and her husband Joe, Craig Baumer and his wife Janet and Kristin Barker and her husband Chris, admired brother of Amelia Jump, Doris Dziwulski and Melvin Baumer, devoted brother-in-law of June Wishard, Edward Gribben and Mary Ellen French. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren and predeceased by 1 grandson.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 18, 2011, from 1-9 PM at the HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4107 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21229. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, November 19, 2011 in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 101 Church Lane, Pikesville, Maryland. Interment at Lakeview Memorial Park, Sykesville, Maryland.
