On December 13, 2014 Peter Lay, Lifelong Resident of Locust Point and Current Resident of Charlestown, Dearest and Devoted husband of Bernadette Lay (nee Schwartz), Dearest brother of Catherine Kohlhoff. Devoted father of Michael Lay & Wife Cheryl (nee Kleinsmith), Christine Lay & Partner Dr. Mari Blackburn, Bernadette Brinn & Husband Bill, Nicholas Lay & Wife Sandy (nee McGinnis), Catherine Combs & Husband Bill, and Gregory Lay. Loving Grand Dad and FaFa to 7 Grand Children & friend to anyone he met. He was preceded in death by a sister Helen Miller and a brother Joseph Lay.
Mr. Lay rests at the family operated Hubbard Funeral Home, Inc., 4107 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, MD on Thursday 12/18 at 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday 12/20 at Our Lady of The Angels Chapel at Charlestown at 10am with visitation at 9:30 am.
