Byers, Nola Colleen On Friday, December 8th, 2006, Mrs. Nola Colleen Byers (nee Pitts), beloved wife of the late Mr. Robert H. Byers, Sr; loving mother of Carolyn King, Jeanne Huffman, Steven Byers, and the late Robert H. Byers, Jr.; adored sister of Ernest Pitts; 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Nola Byers was from Mooresville, North Carolina. She married Robert Byers, a Sergeant in the Army, when she was 17. She was a homemaker and a business owner. She lived in Virginia and later in Baltimore. She was proud of her Victorian Mansion sitting on a hill in Violetville. She was generous and self sacrificing. She believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior from sin, and told us all that she was not afraid to die because she would go to Heaven. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, December 10th, 2006 from 2-5:00 PM in HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4107 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland, where Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 11th, 2006 at 10:00 AM in the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Loudon Park Cemetery.
