On April 24, 2014, Muriel passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles E. Crompton, devoted mother of Carol Schuster and her husband Richard Lane, Sr., Linda Snead and her husband Kenneth, Nancy Hoyle and her husband Richard, Kathy Taylor and her husband Michael, Michael Crompton and his wife Kelly, admired grandmother of Richard Schuster, Jr. and his wife Lisa, Carrie Oddis and her husband Michael, David Hoyle and his wife Jessica, Kimberly Hill and her husband Brett, Karina & Nicholas Katsikas. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Kara Schuster, Dustin & Lainey Oddis, Daniel & Sean Hoyle, Christian & Elizabeth Hill. Along with her husband, she was predeceased by her grandson Scott Katsikas and her son-in-law George Katsikas, Jr.Mrs. Crompton rests at the family operated HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4107 Wilkens Ave., where friends are invited to call on Thursday, May 1, 2014 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 10AM at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, 901 Courtney Rd., Arbutus. Interment will be in Crownsville Veterans Cemetery.
