On December 25, 2014, Meream B. (nee Bloom) Helferstay, beloved daughter of the late Martha S. (nee Shafer) and Charles R. Bloom, loving wife of the late Hunter K. Helferstay, cherished mother of Susan V. Schoo and her husband Wayne, and Carole A. Helferstay, devoted grandmother of Franco and his wife Eileen, Tony and his wife Jen, and Emma Kate, admired great-grandmother of Emily, Leo, Mary, Claire, Kate and Grant.

Mrs. Helferstay rests at the family operated HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4107 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21229. The family will receive guests on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Funeral Home and on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 from 12:30 to 1:00 PM at Our Lady of the Angels Chapel, 711 Maiden Choice Lane, Catonsville, Maryland 21228. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 PM. Interment at Rose Hill Cemetery, 600 S. Potomac Street, Hagerstown, Maryland 21740.
