Maurine Joan Griffith age 84, of Catonsville, MD passed away Saturday, after a battle with cancer. Maurine was born and raised in Missouri Valley, IA but lived most of her life in Ann Arbor, MI. Maurine was a mother and also, from the 1970�s to 1997, a clerk within the Ann Arbor City Clerk�s office. Maurine is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Earl and Myrtle Tamisiea, her daughter, Ruth Herkimer and sister, Vivian Eixenberger. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Charles and sons Don (Denise), Bruce (Christy) and Dale (Edwige) and grandchildren, Austin, Leslie, Nick, Christopher, Monica, Victor, Emma, Sarah and Thomas. In addition, she is survived by her sisters Bobby Purtle and Carol Haines. A memorial service will be held at Our Lady of Angels, Catonsville, MD on Saturday, June 17 at 11 am. Visitation will take place one half hour before services.
