On April 27, 2017, Mary Anna Thompson was reunited with her beloved husband in Heaven. She was the wife of the late John Arch Thompson, Sr.; mother of John Arch Thompson, Jr. and his wife, Gwen, Richard Lee Thompson and his late wife, Jeanne, and Barbara Jean Blauw and her husband, David; grandmother of Dawn, Jeffrey, David, Chris, Kim, Emily, Anna, and Nathan; great grandmother of Jimmy, Justin, Josh, Chad, Chris, Kaitlyn, and Rebecca; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Thompson's family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 from 12-1pm at Our Lady of the Angels Chapel inside Charlestown Retirement Community, 711 Maiden Choice Lane, Catonsville, MD 21228. Her Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1pm. Interment at a later date in Maryland Veterans Cemetery-Garrison Forest. In lieu of flowers, her family wishes that donations in her memory are directed to the Charlestown Benevolent Care Fund.
