Margaret J. Blockowicz (nee Stapinski) "Patsy" (Age 93)
Formerly of Rockville, MD, passed from this life on Monday, November 29, 2021 at Charlestown Retirement Community in Catonsville, MD.She was the wife of 63 years of the late Edward H. Blockowicz.Patsy will be lovingly remembered by daughters, Joann Santmyer (Garry) and Judith McNamara (Peter); son, Joel Blockowicz (Veronica); seven grandchildren, Kyle Santmyer (Allissa), James Santmyer, Ryan Santmyer, Lauren McNamara Hollinger (Aaron), William McNamara (Liz), Joel Blockowicz, Jr. and Anna Blockowicz; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by grandchild, Margot Blockowicz and five sisters.A Mass in Celebration of Patsy's life will be offered at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Community on the Charlestown Campus, 711 Maiden Choice Lane, Catonsville, MD 21228, on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 11 a.m. The family will receive guests prior to Mass from 10:30 to 11 a.m. MASKS ARE REQUIRED IN THE CHURCH.A private service of inurnment will occur at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA, where her remains will be placed in the columbarium alongside those of her husband. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or Catholic Charities.
