Lorman (Bud) Lee Laird III of Baltimore Maryland entered into the presences of his Lord on Monday, May 21, 2112.He is survived by his beloved wife Pamela (Young) Laird.They were married for 34 years.
He is also survived by Lorman L. Laird IV of Lancaster, PA and Walter M. Laird of Martinsburg, WV.Bud was a devoted husband and father and was always very proud of his sons.He was the youngest child of the Late Lorman and Susan (Tizel ) Laird.He is survived by two older sisters Elizabeth (Betty) Laird, Bonnie Ponn and a older step brother Charles Woolford.He was preceeded in death by an older sister, Anna Laird.
A graduate of Mergenthaler Vocational Technical High School he enlisted in the army and served in Germany.He was employed by W. Bell & Company, Charlestown Retirement Community and finally Walmart.
An avid sports fan, he was known for his collection of baseball and football hats.He was also a World War history buff.
Family and friends of the family are invited to join his wife and sons on Thursday May 31, 2012 at Crownsville Veterans Cemetery, 1122 Sunshine Beach Road Crownsville, Maryland 21032 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel for a small prayer service rooted in Catholic tradition followed by an honor guard detail.
