Our dear friend, Loretta, lost her fight with cancer in the last minutes of Thursday, June 27, 2013.She endured several rounds of chemotherapy and enjoyed remission several times, but in the end the cancer took her body although it didn't touch her soul.She never lost her zest for life or the will to keep fighting.Her quick wit and cheerful smile brought joy to all who knew her. She had a tremendous love for and understanding of animals. Loretta was always fascinated with horses and was fortunate to find a place where she could live and still keep her horse in the last year.Her friends, Jeanette and Gary Hoenig, afforded her a place to live where she had a lovely view of the horse pasture and could watch her beloved Dickens graze peacefully.She also leaves her cat, Pruti, dear friends Jerry Griswold, Carol and Tony Diaz, Mimi Arsenault and many others to mourn her passing.But we also rejoice that she is once again whole and in the company of our loving God and Savior.
