Lora Loyette �Loy� Brown nee Workinger passed away on April 15, 2015. Devoted wife of the late Lt. Col. Frank L. �Bud� Brown, Jr. (USAF Ret.); loving mother of Sharon (Bobby) Ward, Deena (Ronnie) Schrauder, and Frank L. �Larry� (Donna) Brown III; adored grandmother of Kathy (Dave) Upton, Frank L. Brown IV, Jen Smigal (Mike Takovich), Austin (Samantha) Schrauder, Danny (Erin) Smigal; great grandmother of Tyler, Sierra, Connor, Emily, Danica, Katarina, Ben, Sarah, Olivia, Lil Austin, and Brady. Also survived by her �baby sisters�, Lorelei Updike, Lynne Corbett, and Nikki Koval. Loy was predeceased by her infant granddaughter, Robin Smigal and her siblings, Verner Workinger, Jr., Lois Valentine, and Bill Workinger. Mrs. Brown rests at the family operated HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4107 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21229 where her family will receive guests on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 from 1-3 and 6-8pm and Wednesday at Our Lady of the Angels Chapel at Charlestown, 711 Maiden Choice Lane, Catonsville, MD from 10-11am. Her funeral service will follow at 11am. Loy will be buried with her husband, Bud, who was laid to rest in Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors in 2001.
