On Sunday, April 7, 2024, Katherine E. Connelly, 100 years old, of Halethorpe, MD peacefully passed away with her family by her side.    Born in East Baltimore in 1923, she was the daughter of the late Andrew J. & Katherine B. Miller.  Living in the Baltimore area all her life, Katherine was the wife of the late Edward R. Connelly.  While working for the State of Maryland as a Personnel Associate, she remained dedicated to her family and her faith, as she and her husband raised their family.  She was active in the Red Hats Society, was lead soprano in the choir, served within the Sodality and RCIA for many years.

Katherine is survived by her 5 children: Patrick Connelly and his wife Robin, Jane Smith, Thomas Connelly and his wife Nancy, Donna Erb and her husband Richard and John Connelly and his wife Joanne.  She also leaves behind her 8 grandchildren: Kerri Everhart, Christopher Connelly, Jenna Erb, Dustin Connelly, Juliana Flanagan, Brittany Loughry, Kelly Maggio and Grace Erb as well as 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, from 2PM-4PM & 6PM-8PM at the Sterling-Ashton-Schwab-Witzke Funeral Home, 1630 Edmondson Ave., Catonsville, MD 21228.   A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, April 11th at 10AM at Ascension Catholic Church, 1527 Potomac Ave., Halethorpe, MD 21227.
