Tribute
August 18, 1957 - March 29, 2018

On Thursday March 29th, 2018 our Dad John Norman Tucker passed away from unknown causes in his 60th year.

After 6 decades of raising hell and making all believe he is immortal, the mighty "Johnny Boy" has moved into the afterlife to see what the party is like up in the heavens. John took pride in his family and was blessed in making them all laugh with him, or at him. His wit was seldom matched, although he rarely noticed. John was known for many things, but most common for (at least one) cool car, trying to shred on the guitar and partying just harder then everyone around him. John had true strength in his charm that made women blush and charisma that men admired.

Dad was born in 1957 in Baltimore, Maryland. He graduated from Southern High School and lived the majority of his life in south west Baltimore. He served his country in the U.S. Airforce where he finished with an honorable discharge as an airplane mechanic. He worked many years with his Uncle George at the Auto Factory to provide a home for his kids and took pride in working with his hands. Dad was proudly married to Jan and Lynda who with all of their strength tried to tame him from the powerful influences that surrounded him. Sadly, addiction was also a constant demon that our father faced. Although this was a daily struggle he was always light hearted and his spirit was impressively strong. He loved listening to great Beatles classics and just spending time telling old stories to remind everyone how funny he was. As with all of you, we will truly miss hearing him laugh.

John is survived by his Mom Janice Metcalf and Step Mom Anna Tucker and is preceded in death by his father John Tucker. Four children, Lewie, Tom, Mike and Brittany. His grandchildren Chelsea, Alexandria, Isaac, Lucy, Jackson, Monroe, Nate, Jameson and Millie and his great grandson Liam. John's sisters, Cathy Wisner, Barbara Hamil, Carole Testa, Linda Orem, Tina Aga, Patricia Grant and his two brothers Donald Santmyer Jr and also preceded in death Robert Tucker.
