On October 23, 2006, John Joseph Koontz, Sr., loving husband of Brenda C. Koontz: beloved father of Karen L and her husband Richard Lucas and John J. Jr. and his wife Gina Koontz: devoted grandfather of Anthony M. DeMaria: admired brother of Paul C. Koontz, Sr.

Visitation will be held at the HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4107 Wilkens Avenue on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 AM in St. Agnes Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Meadowridge Memorial Park.
