On September 3, 2016, John J. Hughes, went to be with his Lord. He is the beloved husband of Barbara Ann (nee Dowling) Hughes, loving father of Erin M. Hughes and Brett M. Hughes, cherished brother of Grace Hodges and the late Lawrence Moyer and Catherine Glacken, admired uncle of Richard and Michael Glacken and Edward Hodges, Jr.

Mr. Hughes rests at the family operated HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4107 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21229. The family will receive guests on Friday, September 9, 2016 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 12:00 PM in Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church.
