On September 23rd, 2021, John W. Hood, Jr., age 86, passed away. He was the beloved husband of the late Margaret L. Hood, devoted father of six: Debbie Diangelo, John Hood, Robert Hood, Robin Whittington, Mary Hood, and Patty Wagner; five loving step-children: Louis Phillips, Jr., the late Ronald Phillips, David Phillips, Kenneth Phillips, and James Phillips. John is also survived by a host of cherished grand children and great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 28th, 2021 from 6pm to 8pm at Hubbard Funeral Home, Inc. 4107 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21229. The graveside committal service will take place the next day, September 29th, 10am at Meadowridge Memorial Park 7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075.
