Obituary

Joan Catherine Wellmann (Nee Ingram), age 83, passed away peacefully on Monday July 25th, 2022. She was born on August 3rd, 1938, to the late Samuel and Mary (Nee Kraeger) Ingram. Joan is survived by her beloved husband, Charles Wellmann, her four loving children, Peggy Wellmann (Steve), Don Wellmann (Lynn), John Wellmann (Jeff), and Jane Goodrick (Joe), a dear brother, David Ingram (Kelly), and her cherished canine companion, Manny.

Joan and Charles were married for a joyous 65 years and 11 months. She enjoyed various crafts including watercolor painting (floral scenery and landscapes) and quilting. Her love of music was undeniable; she sought great joy in singing and playing the piano. Joan will be remembered for her nurturing and inspiring demeanor. Her encouraging advice for others will live on through her family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 27th, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Hubbad Funeral Home, Inc. 4107 Wilkens Ave. Baltimore, MD 21229. Funeral Mass will be on Thursday July 28th, 2022, 11:30am, at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church 711 Maiden Choice Ln. Catonsville, MD 21228. There will be a visitation in church from 11:00am-11:30am, prior to Mass. Interment will immediately follow Mass at Glen Haven Memorial Park.
