On January 15, 2015, Joan Virginia Hoffman, beloved wife of Samuel Hoffman, Sr,; loving mother of Bryan Hoffman and his wife, Donna, Samuel Hoffman, Jr. and his wife, Mary, Vallie-Jo Polcak and her husband, Ted, Robert John Hoffman and his wife, Jennifer, and Pamela Joan Belcher; proud grandmother of Ashley, the late Andrew, Amy, Brad, Katie, Samuel, III, Lee, Christopher, Scott, Holly, Kirsten, Erika, Zachary, Michael, Johnathan, Clayton, and Samantha; cherished great grandmother of Natalie, Jake, Colin, Dallas, Bennett, Isabella, Rylan, Bella, J.T., and Cylas. She is also survived by her best friend, Charlotte Atkins. She was also preceded in death by her devoted parents, the late William Jennings Bryant and Margaret Elizabeth Stewart and dear brother, William Jennings Bryant Stewart, Jr. Mrs. Hoffman rests at the family operated HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4107 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21229 where her family will receive guests on Monday, January 19, 2015 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 12 PM in the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Loudon Park Cemetery.
