Jane Brady passed peacefully on March 4, 2021. Beloved wife of the late John T. Brady; devoted mother of Patricia Brady Caplan and her husband Michael, mother of Jack Brady and his wife Susanne; loving grandmother of Joshua Scott Caplan, Derek Brady, Kelly Brady Burdwood and her husband Cody Burdwood.
Jane retired as a registrar from Woodlawn High School. She was there to help anytime. For every student that entered the office, she had a warm smile. Jane remained active in the community as a volunteer with the St. Agnes Ladies Auxiliary where she logged over 25,000 hours of volunteer work. She also continued her husband's work with the Alhambra and their charitable efforts.
She moved to the Charlestown retirement community in 2012. Jane enjoyed many activities to include swimming, exercise, singing and in particular Bingo, where her "job" every Saturday was to distribute the playing cards.
Jane was an avid Baltimore sports fan and never missed a game on TV. She even attended an Oriole game on her 90th birthday with her family!
