On Friday, August 31, 2012, James "Jim" A. Weinreich, Sr. passed away at Carroll Hospice Dove House.  Born on November 26, 1919 to the late Charles & Verda Weinreich, he was a WWII Army Veteran where he received the Purple Heart prior to his honorable discharge in 1946. James is survived by his wife of 71 years Evelyn A. Weinreich as well as his children, James (Sue) Weinreich, Jr., Robert (Nancy) Weinreich and Pat (Late Rev. Ronald) Smith.  He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.  James was predeceased by his brother Charles Weinreich and his son-in-law, Rev. Ronald Smith.
James rests at the Hubbard Funeral Home, 4107 Wilkens Ave., Baltimore, MD where friends and family are invited to call on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm.  Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Wednesday at 10:00am with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.
