On July 27, 2015, James Patrick Dunn peacefully passed away following a valiant battle.He was the son of the late James H. and Margaret N. Dunn; loving husband of the late Marion Dunn; dear brother of Dennis Dunn and his wife, Karen, Kevin Dunn, Marcy Kahl and her husband, Chris, and the late Jeanne Thompson and her husband, Richard Thompson; cherished uncle of Stephen, Jonathan, and Caroline Kahl; Christopher and Kimberly Thompson. He is also survived by many other beloved family members. James began his lifelong service work in the US Navy before he was a Fireman in the Baltimore County Fire Department. Throughout is entire life, he loved of traveling, playing the bagpipes, creating one of his many oil paintings, and perfecting the art of watching the program NCIS while sipping a great brew.
Mr. Dunn rests at the family-operated HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4107 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21229 where his family will receive guests on Friday, July 31, 2015 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 12PM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (inside Wilde Lake Interfaith Center), 10431 Twin Rivers Road, Columbia, MD 21044. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations in James' honor may be directed to Sister Mary Louise Zollars Outreach Fund, 900 South Caton Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21229.
