On September 18, 2014, James M. Rent went to be with his Lord, loving father of Brian K. Rent and Denise A. Connors, cherished grandfather of Garrett D. Rent and Jenna L. Connors, devoted brother of Shirley M. Nawrocki, Kathryn E. Clapsaddle, Kenneth C. Rent and Patricia A. Mize, also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and his former wife Barbara L. Bennett.

Mr. Rent rests at the family operated HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4107 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21229. The family will receive guests on Monday, September 22, 2014 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Loudon Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in James' memory may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Maryland, 1301 York Road, Suite 404, Lutherville, Maryland 21093.
