Jordan, Harry Vernon

Harry Vernon Jordan, age 96, of Mena, AR, passed away Wednesday, June 25th, 2008 at his home. He was born August 15, 1911 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Henry Jordan and the late Celia Green Jordan. He was united in marriage to Anna Virginia Jacob, his wife of 55 years. Mr. Jordan was a film auditor by profession, a member of the Christ Lutheran Church in Baltimore, Maryland, and a Mason for the Mt. Moriah Lodge in Baltimore, Maryland. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. Survivors are Jo Jones of Mena, Arkansas, his brothers Francis Jordan, Orville Jordan and Donald Jordan all of Baltimore, Maryland. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Celia Jordan, his wife Anna Virginia Jordan on April 22, 1992, 6 brothers and 1 sister.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, June 28th, 2008 from 6-8:00 PM and Sunday, June 29th, 2008 from 3-5:00 and 7-9:00 PM in HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4107 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 30th, 2008 at 10:30 AM in the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Loudon Park Cemetery.
