Tribute
On January 7th, 2020, Harry N. "Bunky" Helwig, Jr. passed away at age 85. He was the beloved husband of the late Patricia A. Helwig, devoted father to Deborah L. Campbell (late Richard), Joseph M. Helwig, Sr. (Becky), Cynthia D. Moody (Mark), and Regina N. Madeira (Paul); loving grandfather of Brandi L. Mason (Robert), Melissa A. Kilby (Keith), William L. Dearing, Jr. (Jenean), Nicholas F. Campbell (Holly), Joseph M. Helwig, Jr. (Megan), Ashley M. Kelley (Michael), Hayley P. Blankenship (Dustin), Cory M. Helwig, and Tyler P. Madeira (Lacey); and beloved great-grandfather of 14. He is also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews.
Bunky was an avid outdoorsman. He specifically enjoyed fishing, crabbing, hunting, and horse riding. The Baltimore Ravens and Orioles were his absolute favorite sports teams. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Mr. Helwig rests at the HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 4107 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21229. The family will receive guests on Monday, January 13th, 2020 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 14th, 2020 at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park, Glen Burnie, Maryland.
