On January 28, 2014, Grace Loretta (nee Hohlbein) Eckart, beloved wife of the late James A. Eckart Jr., loving mother of Donna Underwood, Loretta Matter, and husband John, Margaret Altieri and husband Thomas, Elizabeth Altieri and husband Richard, James A. Eckart III and wife Rose and Wayne F. Eckart, sister of Gertrude Slebzak, Dolores Maurer, Laverne McGowan, Betsy Hollaway, Edmund Hohlbein, and the late Anna May Lester and Buddy Hohlbein, also survived by 17 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Eckart rests at the family operated HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4107 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, MD, the family will receive guests on Thursday, January 30, 2014 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM with funeral services on Friday, January 31, 2014 in the Funeral Home at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Meadowridge Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Heart Association.
