On February 28, 2017, Goddey Abimbola Asemota went home to be with his Lord. He was an artist and very passionate about filmmaking, the country of his birth (Nigeria), two cities where he lived (Baltimore & New York) and his family & friends. The beloved son of Grace Abimbola Asemota, loving father of Miles D. McLeish-Asemota, brother of Henry Asemota and Olufunmilayo Ogundele, uncle of Frances G. Asemota, he is also survived by many extended family and friends. Goddey rests at the family operated Hubbard Funeral Home, Inc., 4107 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21229. His family will receive friends on Friday, March 10th, 2017 from 1-3 and 5-9 PM at the Funeral Home. Funeral services will held the following day, March 11th , 2017 at 10:00 AM at Bethany Lane Baptist Church, 3030 Bethany Lane, Ellicott City, Maryland 21042.
