On February 3, 2013, Gilbert S. Dettmer, Jr., beloved son of Margaret A. (nee Griffin) and Gilbert S. Dettmer, Sr., loving husband of Sharon L. Dettmer, cherished father of Paul Dettmer and his wife Missy, Wendy (nee Dettmer) Karopchinsky and her husband Ryan, David Dettmer, Sr. and his wife Julie, and Brian Dettmer and his wife Marie, admired grandfather of Brittani, David, Jr., Gabriel, Kylie, Joshua and Brian, Jr., also survived by 1 brother and 3 sisters.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-9 PM at the HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4107 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21229. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at 10:00 AM in the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery, 1122 Sunrise Beach Road, Crownsville, Maryland 21032.
