On September 30, 2015, Gert was reunited in her heavenly home with her beloved husband, Homer R. "Luke" Lucas and seven of her siblings. She is survived by her loving daughter, Brenda K. Lucas; sisters, Iva Jean Cullison, Mabel Poling, and Wanda Pugh; brother, John Baldwin; niece/God daughter, Joyce Poling Whitney; nephew, Jeff Poling; and many more nieces and nephews. Gert rests at the family operated Hubbard Funeral Home, Inc., 4107 Wilkens Ave., Baltimore, MD where the family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 from 10am to 12pm.A funeral service will follow at 12PM.Burial will be at Lakeview Memorial Park, Sykesville, MD.
