On October 3, 2022 Gerri went to heaven where she was happy to be reunited with her siblings, parents, cousins, and many, many friends. A beloved mother, she is survived by her children: Colleen, Kathy, Joyce, Chuck, and Suzanne; her grandchildren: Erin, Kelly, Patrick, Sean, Chris, Julia, Ryan, and Nick and her great grandchildren: Emily, Maddie, Elena, and Cole.

Gerri instilled in her family the importance of faith, education, independence, hard work, developing and maintaining friendships, and a strong belief in family. She never failed to give God glory and thanks for His blessings and would often say " God is good ". She was happiest when surrounded by her family and loved that they were close and loving towards each other and would often say " I am so glad you all have each other and care for each other. It's so important ". One of her mottos was " live, love, laugh " which embodied her everyday existence, especially with her many friends.

Gerri was brilliant in her work ventures, especially financial matters like the stock market, real estate, and saving. She was known to often say " do you need it or do you want it ?" to show how important being frugal and saving was for the future. She was renowned for her bridge and bingo competitions and tennis play as well as her two "hole-in-ones" in golf, and riding on her pink bike in Florida! She loved being with people and had a smile, a laugh, and kind words for everyone she met.

A devout catholic, a Mass will be celebrated for her at Charlestown's Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Community in Catonsville, MD on Saturday, October 15 ^th at 12 noon with receiving at 11:30 am. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Alzheimer's Association. https://www.alz.org/
