On June 17, 2012, George C. Shoemaker, Sr., son of the late George A. & Katherine Myers Shoemaker, devoted husband of Dorothy Shoemaker (nee; Bayner) and loving father of George (Diane) Shoemaker, Jr. and Catherine (Scott) Burrier and dear grandfather of Tara-Leigh, RJ and Kyle Shoemaker and Lindsay & Taylor Burrier.He is also survived by his sister Jean Grilse and a sister-in-law and several nieces & nephews.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4107 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21229. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at 12:00 PM in the Funeral Home.
