George L. Kramer Sr., 89, of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on October 23, 2022. George was born on May 17, 1933. He was the son of John and Bessie (Raynor) and brother to Johnny, Paul, Helen, Agnes, Virginia, and Mary Ann. He was the last of his siblings to depart this life. As a young man George served in the Army and enjoyed participating in dance competitions with his wife, the late L. Esther Kramer (Johnson). He had a long career at Woodward & Lothrop as an engineer before he retired. George is the father of six children and adoptive father of two more. He and his wife married in 1958, had five children and then adopted two boys. They raised their family in Baltimore. George enjoyed antique cars, fishing, and vacations with his family. George always loved to be productive and was often working on a project around the house when he wasn't taking a break (or a nap) in his recliner. He enjoyed a wonderful, relaxing retirement in the sunshine state during his last years doing many fun activities with his family. George is survived by his children Darlene (Timothy) Wilson, Brenda Smith, Beverly (Oscar) Mocchi, Georgia (Joel) Reynolds, Anthony Kuzawinski, Garrett Kuzawinski, and Rose Ksanznak; his son George Kramer Jr. passed away in 2000. He is a grandfather to 17: Timothy (Johanna) Wilson, G. Nicholas Wilson, Karen Winters, Samantha (John) Leonard, Tyler Cobb, Alyson Mocchi, Corey Mocchi, Mindy Mocchi (Efe Lawson Lyase), Fayth Mocchi, Ashlyn Reynolds, Megan Kramer, Georgie Kramer, Alayna Kuzawinski, Alexie Kuzawinski, Kylie Kuzawinski, Chrissie Ksanznak Stubbs, and Joseph Ksanznak and great grandfather of 15: Emily Wilson, Aubrey Wilson, Abel Wilson, Aliyah Wilson, Trevor Strickler †, N. Logan Leonard, Liam Leonard, Juliana Leonard, Finnian Leonard, Eamon Leonard, Colin Leonard, Tyler Cobb II, Sophia, Heaven, Adriana, and Leo. George also leaves behind many treasured nieces, nephews and other extended family members. The family is receiving friends and relatives at Hubbard Funeral Home on Friday, October 28, 2022 from 10am to 1pm. Interment will follow at 2pm at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
