George Frank Brown, 83, on April 5, 2009 at Berlin Nursing Home, Berlin, MD, beloved son of the late Emma Kraft Brown and the late George Franklin Brown, Sr., loving husband of the late Thelma M. Brown; stepfather of Beverly A. Mattox and her husband Anthony; brother of Charles E. Brown and his wife Dolores, Joan T. Carlile, and Georgia L. Smith and her husband Robert J. Sr.; grandfather of Leanne D. Ruark and her husband Gary, Leslie A. Knopfler and her husband David. His nieces and nephews, Barbara Smock, Charles Brown, Jr., Jeffrey Carlile, Diana Hundley, Robert Smith III, Bryan Smith and Shawn Smith. In addition, there are eight great nieces and nephews.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2009 from 2-6:00 PM in HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4107 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland. Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 10th, 2009 at 11:00 AM in the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in LakeviewCemetery.
